The IC+ bedpan has been designed using the exclusive Sanitized® process, which protects the surface of the cover against viruses and bacteria using silver ions. It has a proven antibacterial and antiviral efficacy against a wide spectrum of germs, including human coronavirus HCoV-229E. Its continuous action, even after cycles of intensive use, helps to control the risk of infection and therefore improve caregiver and patient protection against cross-contamination. A bedpan liner is recommended as additional protection against the risk of infection linked to handling and splashing excreta.
